Itinery

Day 1:

Collect at Bloemfontein Airport and transfer to Malealea lodge - 3hrs.

Day 2:

Malealea Lodge to Ramabanta Lodge - 65km. Take the scenic gravel road past the Botsoela Waterfall to Ramabanta

Day 3:

Ramabanta Lodge to Semonkong Lodge - 50km. Up the steep ascent to about 3000m for the first 25km and then huge paypack downhill most of the way to Semonkong Lodge for the rest

Day 4:

Semonkong Lodge to Ketane Valley -55km Cycle past the impressive Maletsenyane Waterfall and further on towards the Ketane Valley - incredible track and road for about 40km - We then descend into the Ketane Valley which requires a 2km carry section, until we meet the ketane gravel road where we cross the Ketane River and cycle for another 12km to a local lodge at Nohana.

Day 5:

Nohana to Bethel Lodge - 42 km Cylce through the Ketane valley amongst stunning sandstone cliffs until we get to Bethel lodge, just before the Senqu River(Orange River).

Day 6:

Nohana To Moorosi Chalets - 10 or 40 km This is a easy day which can be used as a rest day. We cycle 5km to the Senqu River where we cross by ferry and then another 5km to Moorosi Chalets. an optional 30 km loop is available for those wanting a more cycling for this day.

Day 7:

Moorosi Chalets to Lake Letsie - 55km Great cycle through the Quthing River Valley and then ascending up to about 2500m up to Lake letsie - a high altitude lake where we will camp for the night - back up crew will set up camp.

Day 8:

Lake Letsie to Kubung Valley - 60km Cycle to Mpkaki and then cross over towards the Kubung Valley in the direction of the Senqu River once again. Camp set up by back up crew.

Day 9:

Kubung Valley to Moorosi Chalets - 25km Short cycle to Moorosi Chalets.

Day 10:

Moorosi Chalets to Seaka Bridge - 72km Cross the Ferry at Bethel again and this time follow the Senqu river past Quthing until we meet the Seaka Bridge, where we will be collected by the Back up vehicles and transferred to Malealea lodge .

Day 11:

Rest Day - Malealea Lodge Pack up bikes and rest day

Day12:

Malealea Lodge to Airport

Transfer to Airport - Tour Ends
