Introduction
Aloes Guest House, in the wonderful valley of Pitseng overlooks the Maluti's and has stunnning views and lovely gardens. Menkhoaheng, the birthplace of King Moshoeshoe 1, occupies the same valley. through Spring the valley is pink with peach blossom, while in Summer Malachite Sunbirds feast on the succulents, egrets and ibis feed amongst the cattle, great Herons stalk the river pools, and occasionally a bearded vulture soars. In Autumn crimson cosmos flowers carpet the terraces and in Winter the snow on the highest peaks of the Maluti's gleams like diamonds in the clear air. Tolkien's dragons and hobbits could easily have emerged here. Come and experience the magic and mystery to be found here.

Aloes Guest House is situated in the small town of Pitseng Ha Tau in the Leribe District, in the foothills just before the road climbs up a few thousand metres to Katse Dam.
